Dausa

The ancient town of Dausa has archaeological significance. Several antiques were discovered here, which are believed to be of the medieval period. These have included remnants of stone images of the chief Hindu gods and goddesses.

Places of Interest in Dausa
The Mataji ka Mandir is a temple that was built in the 20th century. The front wall of this temple embodies some finely carved sculptures dating back to12th century. There are five Shiva temples belong to the medieval period. Dausa also has an old fort and there are numerous "havelis" (mansions) located in and around the town.
