It is best to visit Samode on a day trip from Jaipur, which is just a 40kms drive away. The Samode Palace is breathtaking. It was built in the 18th century and is an architectural gem. The interiors are full of treasures including the intricately carved walls and windows, beautiful frescoes, the splendid stained glass windows and the exquisitely painted ceilings.

The south side of the building has the famous Sheesh Mahal or Hall of Mirrors, which is the biggest attraction of the Samode Palace. The Samode Bagh follows the famous geometric style of the Mughal gardens. It has beautiful water fountains, fruit trees, grapevines and luxuriously furnished tents.
